If your just here for a nut, disregard this miscellaneous rambling.
Given the production time taken for what is, by all means, a relatively short video, I feel it's worth addressing at the very least why this is the case.
I've gotten a couple of messages from patrons that are (perhaps rightfully) rather upset with the long wait for full releases. They cite other animators who can consistently output 1-2 mins per month, rain or shine. It's a fair comparison, so to at least put it into perspective; this animation is about 1700ish frames at 24fps. In theory, I could create a 15 frame loop, repeat that 96 times and add 3-4 different cam angles for good measure and you'd have a sterile 1 min video.
But where's the fun in that, ay.
I can't express just how much I appreciate the support that you guys are willing to offer, but I have to stress that if you are looking for a commercial exchange (you give me money, I give you a video), it's a pretty terrible deal. Accounting for render times alone, with my current hardware this project took 10 straight days - 240 hours, no hyperbole.
Consistency isn't something I can reasonably provide, and I don't feel comfortable advertising this as such. If you are here for the content alone, just wait for me to post on twitter with an announcement for the final release, subscribe, download the video, then cancel the subscription.
Or just steal it from a pirate site, there are plenty floating around.
