Why should this matter for us in the Pmouth sphere? I'll tell you why!

In case you haven't noticed, Micro and I are making a game right now! We're both immensely pleased with the response to the demo for "A Small Party". It's been months in the making and still has a ways to go, but we feel amped up to see this thing through with the momentum y'all have shown us.

[Before I continue, there's an update for the game with tons of typo fixes and cleaner code, so I recommend y'all download the latest version to keep things up-to-date. You can normally just extract the zip file into your previous game folder to replace all of the files without losing your saves. Happy to provide support if issues arise! As a reminder, the game demo is only available to Snack and Meal tier members]

Now, to facilitate progress on the game, and to permit me to refocus on regular Paramouth content, Micro Mistakes is opening his own Patreon page to raise funds for the game!

More or less, all the money spent on development so far has gone to his artwork, which is why I've been less able to fund my regular productions on top of coding, sound designing, writing, and animating the game in Ren'Py. There will be hundreds of drawings by the end of this road, so having a dedicated page for his compensation will mean I won't have to pay him as much directly!

He's also just a great fucking guy and a promising new face in the scene who deserves all the love and recognition he can get. So if you're feeling so inclined to support his drawings, get early access to all of his work, and see behind-the-scenes of the game's development that WON'T be on this page, you should consider donating to him!

With the remaining art left to do to cover what we have planned, we're still quite a long way off, but we hope you'll be willing to join us on the trip to completing this little-big project. I never thought I'd be able to call myself a game dev, sometimes I still don't feel like I can, but we're in the thick of it now!

In other news, the latest animation for THIS page is waiting on just 6 more drawings, and then I can finish animating everything for that. I think you'll like this one, since it also has a small interactive element. Guess my brain's just been fixated on game-making this year 😅
