Angelical Torture (Seraphim Project)

We found the entity in the woods, following a radio signal that shouldn't have existed, it was a woman?... Bigger than a normal human.. why?. We called it "Angel" because he had wings, though those wings didn't fly once the chains held them. We took her to the basement of the abandoned building, where the lights flickered and the machine’s hum never ceased. The researchers claimed they only wanted to "map nerve responses." They drove thin probes into the soles of her feet and activated the mechanism. Every time the machine moved, the angel’s body writhed, its wings battered against the chains, and a piercing sound escaped its throat—not exactly of pain, but of something more urgent, more desperated. "She keeps responding to the stimulation. Increase the frequency."
