I hope you've all been pondering what MODIFICATION you'd like to see next and performing your civic duty on the theme vote!!

I wanted to do this quick post just to

Give an overview of how the Theme Vote works, since there are a bunch of new members

Announce some new tier benefits for the voting power

So let's get right to it;

How Theme Votes Work

First, I want to be clear that theme votes are not an "elimination" vote.The vote serves to decide what gets implemented first, but all MODIFICATIONS are planned to be added.

So don't feel bad if your theme doesn't win, since they will show up in the future!!(That being said, no guarantees of when it will show up in a poll, since I like to try and add some variety in the options).

Additionally, the poll results shown on the site are not the final result, since

There are 2 sites running this poll, so the one you see here is not all the votes

Different tiers have different voting power, and this is not shown on the sites and is instead calculated by me once the poll ends.

Voting Power Benefit Update

After thinking about this for a few months now, I decided to do this update to the voting power.

So while the base values remain unchanged, now MODIFIERS and MODULATORS have a 1-vote increase every 4 months (with a 16-month cap).

I've wanted to update the voting power for a while now to give some extra benefit to long-time supporters, so hopefully this is a good way to do it!!

Additionally, if you upgrade your tier, you'll also get an updated voting power proportional to the tier difference (i.e if you are a Modder of 8 months and upgrade to MODIFIER, you'll get the equivalent voting power of a 4-month MODIFIER).

That's all I wanted to share on this update!!Also, to be clear, I have no idea if this will influence the current ongoing poll results.I have not checked how the votes for each tier are, so this isn't me trying to skew the results in a specific direction.I don't normally have a favorite pick on these votes, since I want to add them all eventually!!So, if you haven't already, remember to vote before it's too late!!
