TLDR: I upgraded my skills, and now I am able to make animations everyday without burnout, but the quality still suffers because I cannot add proper dialogue and voice acting in such a short time, so am I stopping this idea of marathon, this time for good.Hey, everyone. Oh! I am a little bit ashamed to write this post.
Last time, I stopped the marathon because I realized two things: I didn’t have enough energy to make videos every single day, and the quality was starting to suffer because of it.
The reason I decided to try again is because I trained a lot, and now I am actually able to make videos everyday without burnout.
This time, energy was not the problem. It's quality again.
The video for Day 2 was ready. It was an animation-only video, without dialogue or voice acting, because I had spent half the day trying to write dialogue, but nothing came to mind. So I thought “Alright, I’ll leave it like this and post it.”
But just when I was about to publish it, ideas suddenly started coming to me. “Oh… now that I have the dialogue in my head, I can make this video better.”
But then I remembered: “Wait, this is a marathon! I need to post the video today.” And that made me ask myself a question: "Do I really want to post something while knowing I could make it better?" And the answer is no. So I decided to stop the marathon idea - this time for good.I really love to take my time with creating videos. Previous time I discovered this thought, and this time I proved it for real. Thank you for understanding. I think this is the right decision.P.S. On the screenshot, you can see the video I was going to post today. I’m going to keep polishing it, and I’ll do my best to release it this Saturday.
