TLDR: I’m no longer limiting myself to fixed video lengths and will now create videos of any duration based purely on the idea - whether it’s a short 2-minute video or a long 1-hour movie. Now you’ll be getting videos from me much more frequently.Full Post: Hello everyone, this is EleanorNTR, and here is another Weekly News for you. So wait, does this means that Ochaco video is not coming this week? No, I am posting Weekly News right now and Ochaco video later today or tomorrow. But not exactly. Let's get right into it, where I will explain everythingIMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTI've been thinking about this for a while.
When I started making videos, I began with short 5-minute ones. Everyone liked them, so I thought, "This is a great format". Then I experimented with longer videos (15-20 minutes), and people loved those too. So I switched again. Eventually, I moved on to full-length movies (1-2 hours), and once more, the feedback was very positive.
Each time, I forced myself to stick strictly to the new format: "Now I only do 5-minute videos," "Now only 15-20 minutes," and so on. Looking back, I realize this was a big mistake for my videos in terms of Art and Creativity.
Here’s why: I’d see a hot character like Uzaki Tsuki and get a great idea for a video, but then I think, “This would work perfectly as a 5-minute video... but I’m supposed to make 20-minute ones now, so I can’t do it”. Or I’d want to make a 20-minute video with Scars of Summer girl, but feel like I had to stick to hour-long movies because that’s what people expected.
Because of this, many ideas never became videos.
So, here’s my announcement: I’m no longer limiting myself to a fixed video length.
From now on, I’ll create videos based purely on the idea and my inspiration. If I want to make a 2-minute short, I will. If I feel like making a 1-2 hour movie, I’ll do that too.
You might be thinking, “What’s the point of this announcement? It’s your channel - do whatever you want.”
Two reasons for that. First - because I am doing videos not just for myself as a hobby, but for you. I want you to enjoy my videos. Second - because you support me financially, and I truly respect and appreciate that support. In the past, when I released a 5-minute video after a long 1-hour one, some of you felt disappointed and said things like “Only 5 minutes? You’re getting lazy. I’m not supporting you anymore.”
That’s exactly why I’m explaining this now. I’m not doing this because I’m lazy - I’ve simply realized that some ideas are much hotter and more effective when they’re short, while others work best as long, detailed videos.
This change also means I’ll be able to release videos much more frequently. Sometimes I'll drop 2-3 short videos per week, other time I’ll take two weeks to make a 20 minute video, or a month to make a 1 hour movie - I want to depend on the idea instead of being dependent from video format.VIDEOWhich brings us to the Ochaco video, which will be a good example of what I was talking about.
All the scenes are fully animated, but when I started putting them together and writing the dialogues, I realized: these would work much better as separate short videos rather than one long one.
So here’s the plan: You’ll get the first Ochaco video this week, the second one next week, and the third one the week after that.
And the best part? There will be plenty of other videos releasing alongside them.
For example:
Next week: Chun-Li video + Ochaco video + Rangiku Matsumoto video
The week after: Ochaco video + Mai Shiranui video
And so on.That's it for now! New video coming today/tomorrow - EleanorNTR
