An update, Ivory character teaser & billing paused

Hey all, been a while since the last post, apologies for that. This post will be delving into multiple subjects, so bear with me.

WHERE I'M ATPutting it quite honestly, to say it's been smooth sailing would be a lie. Outside of personal matters, the progress has unfortunately not been as fast as I initially hoped, though I'm working on the game every chance I get and progress is still progress.

On the other hand, slowly but surely I've been realizing that, since writing is my biggest issue by far, the game is really just held up by my own shortcomings. Though, I've fortunately had great people offer help, one of which is a writer (not for this character) that is very much on the same level as me and has agreed to help write & direct the content in the game where needed. I personally have great expectations that this will accelerate and improve development even further, but only time will tell.

BILLING PAUSEDBecause progress has been slower than expected, and given the original November release estimate, I’ve decided to pause Patreon billing once again. Existing members will not be billed during this time.

This feels like the most fair way to me to stay accountable while reducing pressure and keeping development sustainable. Billing will remain paused until the update is released.

FUTURE PLANSAfter 0.4 is released, I plan to release several smaller updates or one larger (but still relatively small) update right after. With the help of the new writers for the game, there have been additions in the form of characters and NPCs, which I wish to introduce in these smaller updates. One of which is Ivory, the character you see above. The reason for this is to improve the world building while not bloating the main update too much.
