(Update at the end)
It's been a few hectic weeks for me, between being busy irl and frustrated with Pixiv support because they banned my account and refused to tell me why..
To break down their response:
They gave an excerpt of ToS, telling me to review and fix violations. Which is fine, except, they also went 'we cannot tell you why and which exact work violates ToS'. Which meant I had to guess what was wrong based on the few lines of vague rules and make the changes on 3 years worth of posts. And the next day they'd reply that the violations were still there and pretty much repeated the same thing.
Now, I was sure I didn't break any rules except one that goes 'links to websites deemed inappropriate by the company'.. I found out by process of elimination that they suddenly didn't like itch links anymore but my bad for not being a mind reader, I guess.
I did eventually get the ban lifted afterwards.
Sorry for the long rant, anyways, let's start with the update: L2D animation!
I've started learning the program and am trying it out with some basic ideas first. I'm learning with the trial, but if it turns out well, I might get a subscription and make one every now and then.
I know I've mentioned not being interested in 2D animation anymore a while ago, but that was mostly referring to my older works which used Blender 3D to replicate the L2D concept, and was much more tedious. I'll probably look at making different loops with varying speed and maybe slap on some simple sfx.
There are also a bunch of works I have not completed, the next few days I'll be focused and will try to finish them plus this animation in time for March rewards. All that lost time really hurt.. that's all for now!
