We have another story-focused week this time; while the last story week focused on Rean events, this one focused more on Edgar related content. Before we get into that, but also related to it, we have a little bit more follow-up content on Farm Defense and as to what happens to the Farmer Girl Everett.

She has two new fairly minor events, one happens in the morning 15 days after her initial corruption start; the other another 15 days later during the next Edgar date. After each event, her character dialogue in town also changes, until she reaches a fairly corrupt state after the second event.

Then, moving back to Edgar. To kickstart his new content, we have a couple new clauses. First of all, Edgar can now offer Liora a contract during work that allows him to downgrade your current sexual service action. Now why would he do that? To unlock this, you need to unlock a couple of conditions, most importantly you need to advance enough to lewd actions on dungeon return due to high Sexual Frustration. By lowering the action type, in particular to a Handjob, Edgar receives a new tool drive up Liora's frustration as the Handjob action doesn't have a way for Liora to cum, this raising her frustration values.

In the long run, the goal here is to eventually get Liora to ask to give a higher value service out of her own desires... But that is for Part 4 of the game. For now, it's just some prep and variation creation.

The next two clauses are mostly cosmetic at the moment. You can have Liora change the way she addresses Edgar during dates or during work. There aren't that many events that interact with this yet, but it will be important for the Noble Date next month as it will play a role in determining how much Edgar is perceived to be in control of Liora and thus how much prestige he can earn from that event.

The next clause goes into the same direction, Edgar can have Liora agree to all politics related statements that he makes when she goes on a date with him. This was mostly intended as a follow-up to the Edgar Brothers event that would find application during the Noble Date next month.

However, since the Noble Date will be prestige-locked, and I don't like clauses not having any sort of immediate effect, I have changed my idea that I had for events with Edgar's friends at the pub to a sort of "Noble Date Light". Reach 15 Town Prosperity to get the story started, Edgar will get in contact with a rich merchant through one of is friends and each Waterday they will hang out in the Pub where Edgar has the opportunity to get the guy to invest money into Thornefield, giving a +1 to Town Prosperity after 5 such dates and +1 Prestige on every date.

Well, that is, if Liora has the appropriate clause! Otherwise he won't trust in Edgar's ability to control the Princess.

Doing the second event of this event line will unlock the actual clause and then there exists at least one event where it has an immediate impact. There aren't yet any other events sadly where this clause triggers, so it's effects are currently fairly limited, but it's one more step towards preparing the Noble Date variation. In the future, Edgar will only take Liora there when this clause is active to avoid looking bad from her disagreement.

Finally, a minor balancing change to the acquisition of the Relief Attendant passive. It will now check the total sum of your skills instead of requiring an individual skill to reach level 30. I didn't like that upgrading the sexual services effectively reset the progress towards this passive. You still need at least skill level 5 for it to trigger though.

Okay, so much for the game update. Besides that a lot has happened on the business development side. I already mentioned last week that my accountant became active and we made a lot of progress. I haved worked out detected inconsistencies over the last 1.5 years of accounting data to get everything clean and I think everything starting from 01.01.2025 is now up to snuff to "real company" standards. (Basically sole proprietors get to use an easier form of accounting, which doesn't document as much, but as an incorporated entity, I can't use that anymore so we had update everything to the more difficult way of accounting.)

AuraGamedev GmbH will most likely exists starting 01.09. I signed the documents at the notary today and now just need to set everything up with the bank. There is more work involved to transfer everything correctly, especially I need to pray moving Steam and Patreon over will work x_X but there is finally progress and quite a lot of it at that.

I will make a post tomorrow as to what my vision is regarding future growth and where I want to spend the money to improve the team by making use of our ability now to properly hire employees (I could technically do that before already but it's a lot easier as a business with a proper accountant).
