Progress Report - June + Scene Theme Poll

Hey everyone, hope you’re having a goo start to the month. There’s quite a few things planned for this month that I’d like to go over and hopefully there’s at least a few of them that each of you will be interested in. I’ll start off with the new scene as there is actually a poll at the bottom to decide what the theme will be for that.

New Scene - Job Or The Others

So this month is going to be another scene poll. Which is quite good as I will have the third floor done but the end of the month so we can have this new scene up there along with some others that will get moved there so it should be quite nice having a few right as its added. Anyway there ere two options at the moment for themes. There’s a “Job” one which I don’t think we’ve actually done before where it includes all of them like H*ndjob, A*sjob, B*objob etc so could be quite a fun one.

Some of the scenes that will be included with this theme will be these but I can also get some others done if it looks like this will be the one that wins.

The next option will kind of be an “All of the rest” kind of thing. I was going to do a POV one however I don’t actually have enough POV scenes that would fit in just this and I don’t think I’d be able to get them done in time for the poll. So I have gone with an all of the others option.

Here is a look at some of them, although if you have any other suggestion I will be able to get maybe 1 or 2 more sketches done ready for the poll. I was thinking one where the girl is like up in the air that could be quite fun but ill have to see if there’s a good position with that. Or maybe like one where the guys holding the girls legs up and she’s on the front, I think its called like the wheelbarrow or something but will have to check. Anyway any other suggestions for scenes you have let me know.

New Character - Anubis

Now the next main thing coming this month is the new character who was voted for in last months character poll. This was a very close poll, which we’ve actually been getting a lot of recently which is nice to see, but in the end Anubis just one. Morrison did put up a good show and came very close so I think she’ll get added very soon but for now its going to be Anubis.

Here is how shes looking if you hadn’t seen her in the poll. I had actually never even heard of her but got her added last minute as I saw a suggestion of her that did really well while I was looking for characters that would fit the theme so its nice to see it was worth it and she actually won.

I don’t know what kind of quest line I’m going to do for her just yet but if you have any ideas or ones you think would be good let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

Scene Transitions - B*objob

The next thing is following on from the last update. Last update had 2 new scene transitions which have come out very well however I said I would try and get 3 done which I wasn’t actually able to in the time just with how complex I keep forgetting they actually are. Anyway I thought this month I am going to try and get that third one done being the B*objob one.

I don’t know if it will come this update or the one after, probably the one after as that has a bit less stuff that will need to be worked on but I should have some more updates for you in the next WIP posts.

If there are any other scenes as well you’d like these to start getting added too let me know and I can get some sketches done and then we can do another poll hopefully soon and try and get them added to as many scenes as possible

C*m Fill Feature

For the feature focus poll last month the two new options did so well. Im so glad I added them as they both did the best but the C*m one just won which I kind of knew would happen with how much good feedback it got before I even added it to the poll.

This will be coming in the update after next as the next one will be the new character, however if I have time I might be able to get it added to one scene just to see how it goes and see if its all fitting in nicely.

Im going to have to animate it in a different way just because im trying to be very like making sure stuff doesn’t take up too much file size and this would be one of those things that could so im going to animate it the same way I do for the new scenes and well see how that goes.

I think the scene I will test it in first is the Rev C*wgirl (Back) V2 scene as that will be quite and easy one to make sure its working with.

File Size Stuff

This is something that isn’t really anything I’ve added but thought I need to speak about quickly. Basically for a while now the game has just been getting bigger and bigger and we are now over 1.5GB which isn’t actually too much but its only really going to get bigger from here, especially with the scene transition stuff they take up a lot of space.

Anyway the plan is over the next few months im going to find ways to reduce the size a bit, a lot of this will be done with outfits as they take up a lot of space but im wondering how much of this you actually want to do. Obviously while im doing this it will be taking up my time so I could either do a small amount that wouldn’t really be noticeable and you’d still get the same amount of content each update or I could do a bit more of this and reduce the size a bit quicker but there might be a bit less added like maybe a few less characters to scenes or something. Either way I think this needs to be done and I won’t be over doing it next update until we see what people want but I will be testing out how much updating one outfit does reduce the file size by then I can kind of work out if the time to do them is worth it or not.

I will also be reanimating the outfits a bit while I do this so the animation for them will hopefully come out a bit better so thats a plus and I could update the colour for them as well once iv’e done that so there might also be an increase inequality well see how it goes.

Outfits

Speaking off outfits I am going to try and get a couple more done for the POV On Top scene. I think the one added for Velma last update is working well but let me know if there are any problems with that. Im going to try some that are a little bit more complex, not too complex just a bit different to see how they go.

I have also got some more sketches for the new characters outfits some of these you might have seen already and some you won’t have.

I think I’ll be working on this the update after next once I’ve made sure I’ve got the outfits in the POV On Top scene working nicely.

Thee still a lot of outfits I need to get through but once I get all this new animation stuff working well where it will be a lower file size I think I should be able to start getting through them a bit quicker which should be nice

Third Floor

For the third floor I don’t really have any update on how its going because everything is drawn and ready and you’ve probably already seen how its looking.

Here it is anyway, this month though I am going to start working on getting it into the game however I need to rework a bit how you get there.

Obviously you go up the stairs and and that takes you to the second floor, what im thinking is adding a sign to one of the doors saying third floor so you can go up to the third floor that way. Im also thinking of adding a second option that will let you go up their in the lift, so when you click on the lift it will say either basement or third floor. Both of these ways can be used to get up there which should be quite nice.

I only have the basic theme done at the moment as well but will work on getting the rest of the themes done once I have it actually added in. It will probably take a long time for this though as these backgrounds take a bit longer than the others.

There no night backgrounds coming next update as well which is a bit weird as I’ve been so used to getting one added every time but we now have them in every scene so thats really good. Let me know if I have missed any though but im pretty sure its in every scene :)

Images And Animations

Finally for the Images and animations. With the image I think im actually going to do a two girl one which we haven’t seen in a while. This is going to be one for Carrot & Charlie M as I have the sketch ready just never got round to doing it.

Normally I would follow on with the characters in order which I think would be some for Lara C next but while I work on the sketches for them I will get this done in full colour for the next update so I hope you’re all going to like that.

For the image animation I don’t really know what you’d like to see next, the one I was going to do is this image.

But if there’s another you’d like to see first let me know and I can work on that one instead :D
