Progress Report March + Character Poll Theme

Hey everyone, I hope you’re all having a good start to the month. Got quite a few new things to go over with you this post so I’ll try make sure each section isn’t too long but if you have any more questions about them please let me know and I can tell you anything you need to know. There is also a poll to decide what theme the character poll should be for this month so you can vote on that below :)

New Scene - Hole 4

Starting off with the new scene which is probably what you’re all most excited for and thats coming along really well.

Here is the sketch animation I have been working on if you didn’t get to see it in the last post. I was also talking about some options I could do with it, basically for the foot thats in the hole I could add an option where it is on this side of the wall so you get to see it but my plan for having it in the hole is to actually have a window view where you can view it and other things from the other side of the wall and also interact with it. I’ll be able to do both of these its more which one you’d like to see first, however I won’t be able to do the interactive stuff yet that will have to come maybe as a feature focus option or something.

Now for the location and background I am working on a sketch and some stuff for this but the plan is to have it in the same location as the P*ep Hole scene where its on the other side of the wall in the office. Instead of looking at the brick wall it will be looking at the kind of other side of the wood wall in the office. I’ll have a proper sketch or base colour image ready for the WIP so hopefully that will make more sense. Soon we will be getting a third floor though so that will give us a lot more cool places for scenes. I did have one question though about the third floor, when you are viewing the house fro the outside it only has 2 floors and I could add a third however this would mean for some devices you wouldn’t be able to see the top so don’t think this would really be the best but I have a few options

The third floor is a rooftop location so has a pool or other things that can be on the roof.

Have the third floor but just keep it as 2 outside, it won’t make real sense but would still work

Have a garden location instead of a third floor, this could still come in the future anyway but could have a little inside area in the back garden or other location parts there

New Animation Test - Progress

Now onto another scene that I have been working on that a lot of you might have scene in the last WIP post and thats the Th*ghjob scene. This actually won the feature focus poll which was very nice to see as im quite excited to try out this new way of animating actually within the game same am glad you like the way its looking.

I haven’t been able to work on it much more yet as I have had to be working on the new update and also Hole 4 scene stuff but the plan is, as this one the feature focus poll, to get this scene added in the start of the month update for next month. Normally a feature focus would be I the mid month update but as the mid month one is already going to have a new scene I thought it would be a good idea to spread them over two.

This will also give me a bit more time to work on the animation itself and get it looking as good as possible and also let me show you the progress so if you have any feedback for things that can be better than we can do that along the way.

I hope this scene does turn out really good though as it will open the doors to a lot of new features that I haven’t been able to do in the other scenes yet. I will get an update to the scene ready for you in the next WIP post though, this will still be the base colour but will be animated a bit better and smoother and then we can go from there.

Feature Focus Poll This Month

For the feature focus poll this month I wasn’t going to add any new options as I wanted to let some of the other options have a chance at winning. That being said there was quite a few people that wanted the Scene Transitions option to be added back.

There is still quite a lot of these that I have sketches for and also some new ones that im going to start work on soon so if you would like to see them get added to the feature focus poll let me know. I can either do it this month or if not I will add them back next month.

Adding them back next month will probably be better as it gives the other stuff more of a chance however I know some people might want to see some new ones sooner so just let me know :)

Character Poll - Anime Or Monster Girl

Now for the poll thats coming mid month this month its going to be a character one. I don’t know which theme you would like to see the most so at the bottom of this post I have actually done a poll to vote on which one is best.The two options I have gone for are Anime & Monster Girl as it has ben ages since once of these has been added. I was going to add a Video Game options as well but as Lara was added quite recently I thought it would be best to have these two options then I can add that as a theme in the future.

Here are some of the character I had in mind from previous polls that would work well in either of these just to give you and idea of what you might be getting.

If you have any other ideas though that would work for either of these themes then please let me know and I should be able to get a few more character sketches ready for the poll.

Outfits

For the outfits this month I would like to carry on from where I left of with adding unique outfit to some different scenes and not just focusing on the Legs Spread On Desk.

The scenes I have been doing are the On Side & D*epthroat V2 but I would also like to get some more added to the M*ssionary V2

I can also get some more added to the Legs Spread On Desk but probably only a couple as I would like to try and spread it out across lots of different scenes so we get a wide variety.

Also let me know if you’d like to see any generic outfits as I could get them added to one of these scenes as well and it will work for all the characters which is always a good thing.

More Head Designs

For the head designs I got one done for Moxxi in the last update and then the other one I had a sketch for was Jessica R. She would be nice to get redone but does already have a slightly different head variation added so I could wait and get her done another time.

In the time being though I got some sketches done that are variations on some of the newer characters.

Here are some of them so let me know what you think and if there’s a particular one you’d like to see done first then I can try and get that done for the next update :)

I will be getting even more sketches done for some of the newer characters as I know a lot of them have different variations and looks so we should have a decent amount to choose from and then I could maybe do a small poll just to see which ones you want to get done first.

Still Images - Jinx LOL & Cass H

For the still images next update is going to have two images and the first of these will be the third one for Deer Girl. Here is a quick look at how thats coming along.

The I have also got some more sketches done for two new characters Jinx LOL & Cass H.

Each of these will have 4 variations but let me know if there’s one you’d like to see done first as that will probably be the second one added in the next update

Night Backgrounds

Finally for the night backgrounds at the moment I am working on getting everything done for the M*ssioanry V2 scene, this needs a bit more works as there’s also all the desk variations that I added so am getting them done first and then will start work on the backgrounds.

I should have all this done and ready for the next update though and then I will do a quick look through all the scenes to make sure they all have the night background and if thats all good I will work on the Office & Reception ones. Were getting very close now which is really exciting.

That’s everything I have to show that is being worked on at the moment. If you have any suggestions for other things though I could start working on let me know and let me know what you think of the two new scenes as those are what im most interested about as I work on some new things.
