SnowBall Battle Royal 1 Rough

Ok time to get the new comic cranking, first page rough done and final lines tomorrow. Should be easily get second page this week as well! Total run will be 5-6 pages and wrapped this month.

Panel 1

Wide shot of a park blanketed in snow. People are building forts, prepping snowballs. Dave and Isabelle stand near a snowbank.Isabelle is bundled up in a jacket, hat and mittens, her legs in tight thermal leggings. Even mister wiggles is getting ready for the action. Caption: First snow day of the year. That means only one thing…

Dave : “Alright Isa—this year we win the Snowday Rumble!”

Panel 2

Isabelle is enthusiastically stacking snowballs. Careful to keep any snow from getting on herself. Dave is strapping a target onto Mister Wiggles Isa: “Finally! I’ve been training my pitching arm! And with Wiggles here this year we can’t lose.”

Mr Wiggles -barks-

Panel 3

Dave starts filming on his phone, streaming. Dave has a thought bubble with a mall chibi Isabelle stuck in a doorframe, her hips massive and wide

 Dave: “Just try not to get too wet. Last time you got stuck in the doorway when we got home.” Isa: “That was ONE TIME!... And at least I still fit in the house.”

Panel 4

Suddenly snowballs are falling everywhere. Dave ducks, one snowball splatters on Isabelle's chest. 

Dave “Look out, they are coming in fast!  Isa, play defensively!”

Isa  “The jacket is waterproof this year! I’m fine.”

Panel 5 

Isabelle grabs several snowballs and starts to run excitedly into the fray.

Isa “Come on Dave, you want to live forever?

Panel 6 Smaller panel, Dave responding, hes trying to warn her.

Dave “Sure but look out for the ice!”
