Good evening!

It’s almost October already. It feels like New Year’s Day was just yesterday—time really flies!

I read online the other day that the older you get, the faster time seems to pass.

If that’s true… does that mean I’m getting older too? Haha!

Here in Japan, when October comes around, the shops fill up with sweets made with sweet potatoes and chestnuts!

Even regular snacks you see all year suddenly come out in special limited-edition fall flavors like sweet potato and chestnut.

But… honestly, I’m not a fan of either of them, lol.

Every autumn, it feels like there’s nothing left for me to eat!

I really love this season, but that part is always a little disappointing.

Anyway! Today I want to introduce you to two magical girls—original characters created by the amazing artist, Yochiko!

I had the honor of drawing them at Yochiko’s request, and it turned out to be a very special piece with a lot of great memories behind it.
