Catwoman x Ugly Bastard [Animation]

TLDR: 7-Day Marathon, second attempt. Day 1.Hello, everyone. I am attempting a 7-Day Marathon again! I just cannot stop myself from trying it again. I started today at 7 A.M, and now I am finishing this work at 10:00 PM, which leaves 2 hours until the end of the day. Which means that the first day is complete! Makes me really glad.VIDEOWe’re starting our marathon with Catwoman from DC.

After receiving your blessing to make animation-only videos, I asked myself: “Which character have I wanted to work with for a long time, but never could because I couldn’t come up with the right story?”

And the answer came to me immediately: Catwoman.

At first, this was supposed to be an animation-only video. But then, as I started animating the image, the story began to unfold naturally in my imagination.

So in the end… it became a video with a plot after all.

This video has two versions: a White Male ver. and a Black Male ver.

Here’s the thing… I experimented a lot with the background because of the plot of this video, and I’m really happy with how the White Male version turned out. The background looks almost exactly the way I imagined it.

But when I started working on the Black Male version, I ran into a problem: if I kept the background dark, the male character became much harder to see. So I decided to simplify it a bit.

I’m not completely satisfied with the background in this version, but it's better than nothing!

That said, I’m curious what you think. If you like this version, or even prefer the background of it over the White Male ver. background, please tell me!There is no voice acting because Catwoman speaks English, as I thought that Japanese is not suitable here.

Usually, when I’m choosing which image to animate, I pick only one and discard the rest.

But this time… a lot of the images were really good.

It was honestly hard for me to choose, because every image in the screenshot above looked hot in its own way. In the end, I made my choice, but instead of deleting the unused images, I think I’ll keep them. They’re too good to throw away!

Maybe I’ll animate some of them and make a Part 2 in the future.CONCLUSIONDay 1 is complete! I had a lot of fun making this video.

Please don’t expect every video in this marathon to have a plot. The only reason this one ended up with a story is because… I got lucky, I guess!

It’s not something I can always plan on purpose. Sometimes I look at an image and think: “Hmm… okay, I can build a little story around this.”

And other times I look at an image and think: “Hmm… I have absolutely no idea what to do with this plot-wise… but it’s hot, so I’m still going to animate it.”I hope I will be able to deliver for you Day 2 tomorrow. See ya!- EleanorNTR
