Apparently Patreon is going to change the billing system forcefully by November 2024 and that's due to Apple App Store accepting only subscription billing.
What does that mean?That means that whenever you join my Patreon, payments will be upfront and, on top of that, the payment will repeat every month the same day you first joined. For active members, it should repeat the same day you have been charged previously.
What happens when you pause payments?Payments will be paused for a month starting from the day I pause them. No new patrons will be able to join until the pause period is over.

This change kind of complicates things for me since I was able to make the current system work perfectly for me and the way I deliver content to you.
There is a way to put this method on hold until the end of 2025, but doing so will make it impossible for Apple users to support me. I'm not sure if anyone even uses Apple, since either they are or will be paying 30% more on their pledge, but I need to know in order to decide whether I should put this switch on hold or not.
