If you notice “MrDelegado” added to some options, it means I’m taking some artistic liberties. This could be for one or more of the following reasons:
A proposed remake
A proposed redesign
Adjusting for an adult version
Not viable for a 1:1 transition from 2D to 3D
I had to put extra MrDelegado or omit information becuase of several extra reasons. Some are evident and others aren't but I wish to elucidate:
Condensed/Uncanny Reference: Low-poly models, raw animals/monsters, or unusual designs are all considered to be reinterpreted in my style.
Obscure/Specific Artist Reference: Hard-to-find or single artworks, often similar to the original.
Understood Reference: If you find the name of the artist and mine, it means I get it, but I may need to adjust it for feasibility.
Extra info (repeat): Moving forward, I’m keeping polls in three categories: Anime, Cartoon, and NSH/Furry. That's it. It makes more sense (to me, at least!) to group things by style: Eastern, Western, and Anthropomorphic —the sacred triad of depravity.
Videogames used to have their own category, mostly because they were tied to "existing 3D assets," but it's been a long time that assets for any character are just as likely to pop up across all styles. Since I rarely use external 3D assets anyway, keeping Videogames as a separate category no longer feels necessary.
