Weekly Roundup 253 - Bindmancer Enviro Art Production - Week 2

Hope you've had a great week.

I've been working away on some enviro art for the Bindmancer so Let me show you what I've been up to.

1: What's New?

I did start this week on making more Camp art. but the more I worked on it the more I felt like I was making refined art for content that already existed.

Originally I wanted to hire an artist to make the enviornment art for the 2nd wing. But I think in the end I need to swap around that approach and either hire someone to make nicer camp art. Or to just dedicate time for it once I get a new wing of the dungeon out.

So I pivoted over to making the enviro art assets for the 2nd Wing. This is something I've been meaning to do for a while. It'll take some weeks to make all the assets, and then some other weeks to make environments. But getting you all a new environment to play in would be fantastic.

I pivoted to making the new "Statues" for this environment. The upcoming wing is supposed to be the "Gallery" of the tower and one thing I wanted was various poses of people in bondage. (And possibly opening up for some prisoner poses and escape situations down the line later)

This is all currently in photoshop but I am making the heads and the tails of these statue somewhat customizable so each "Pose" of statue will have 3-4 variants.

And I wanted to go for a black-stone and gold look for the statues as well.

2: What's Next?

Next up is more dedicated enviro-art. I need to do the hours for these statues. but once they're all done I'll line them up in a row for all to see!
