Hey! First of all I'm sorry that I'm late with the first of the month posts (ramble, Q&A etc.) but they will be with you by the weekend! It's been a busy few days for me and it will be another busy day tomorrow. I'll be rambling a little in this post but I promise it's all relevant and will make sense in the end. ^-^ Yesterday I had to officially register my dad's death which was as heavy as it sounds. My grandad has been quite withdrawn since my dad passed away and I guess yesterday stirred up a lot emotions for all of us. I asked him if he fancied a day out to lift his spirits, expecting him to say no thank you, but he said yes! So off we went today to the Cotswolds. We visited a village called Bourton-on-the-water which is a must visit if you ever come to England. If you want somewhere quintessentially English then go there! I wanted to take grandad there because it has a really cool motor museum - not sure if you'll have ever heard of 'Brum' but it was a kids TV show where a tiny, sentient car would drive all the way to Birmingham and explore the city. ^-^ I loved watching it so it was very cool to see Brum in real life. Grandad got to show me all the different cars he's owned over the years, such as the Morris Minor, Ford Cortina and Austin 10. Then he showed me a BEAST of a car that he said is his dream car, a Riley. Image attached. ^-^ he really lit up and was super talkative. We visited 'Birdland' and saw lots of beautiful birds. Hilariously we spent most of the time in Birdland standing on a bridge while grandad pointed out all the trout fish he could see in the river. I got him an ice cream and we sat next to the River Windrush. He had such a lovely day today. When we got back to his house and I was saying goodbye, he was teary eyed telling me how much of a wonderful day he'd had. He said he was going to go sit out the back in his little garden tonight, watch the sun set and play the day over again in his head. What he doesn't know is I wore a go-pro type camera and recorded the whole day ^-^ I'll surprise him with that next week. It means everything to me that I can do that for him. That I can be there for him and pick him up during this hard time. Spending time together is so healing for both of us. I couldn't have given him today without your support. Without the flexibility that creating content has given me. I really want you to know how much I appreciate every single person reading this. Thank you so much for cushioning what has been a pretty rough few years. I wouldn't be anywhere near as 'okay' as I am right now if not for this. You have directly impacted my life and continue to and I'll never, ever forget. I'll never stop telling you either. I am so incredibly grateful. Thank you so much for this special day that will stay in my heart forever. <3 I hope you like the pictures! Hopefully I can get him to come out a few more times before the summer is over, let me know if you'd like to see more pictures from our days out. ^-^ new exclusive audio out tomorrow & ramble/Q&A to follow on the weekend! See you then!
