Hey everyone, I want to start by apologizing for the latest update. It has several issues, and I have to admit that I’ve been taking a lot of time off lately.
A serious issue during January: I want to share something I’ve been keeping to myself for a while: I’ve been dealing with misdiagnosed hand issues. I do have tendonitis, but the situation was handled poorly. The first doctor I saw told me I had ulnar nerve compression. It’s unbelievable to think that I was scheduled for surgery in February based on that.
Fortunately, I decided to get a second opinion and more tests, and the results showed no compression at all. I was so angry; I almost went under the knife due to a mistake. I’ve been living in fear for so long because I really didn’t want another surgery.
I tried to take care of myself, but since I didn't know the root of the problem, no one could truly help me. It’s like having a stomach ache and just being told to "eat healthier." They recommended rest, which I’ve now learned can actually make this specific issue worse. I’ve had to do my own research for months just to understand what’s happening to me, and even after seeing another doctor to confirm it wasn't a nerve issue, I find it hard to trust again. It feels like many doctors are dismissive of overuse injuries compared to more "obvious" traumas.
It’s frustrating, but I’ve started following routines I found online that have actually improved my quality of life. My plan now is to visit a sports rehabilitation center. They specialize in overuse pain, and I’m hoping they can provide the right tests. My last doctor just said I’m "fine" and just need more muscle mass, but the pain is still there and it worries me.
Regarding the game: The game needs to improve. Time is flying, and I want to finish it properly, without more bugs or a confusing plot.
I know this last update isn't good, and I’m truly sorry. You’ve always been here supporting me, and you deserve a game that you can actually enjoy; I’ve been thinking about that a lot.
The update is confusing regarding Episode 9. I tried to implement some ideas, but they don't connect well yet. Please, allow me to work through this month to complete the game. My main goal is to make it cohesive, even if it ends up being simpler, it’s better than being overly complex and confusing.
