Weekly Roundup 261 - New Alt Download Site + The Imprisoned Statue - Pt5

Before I get into the progress on the Bindmancer I wanted to give a positive update on some people having problems downloading off MEGA.NZ. For the most part this is either due to their region, or because they're using an Ad Blocker on that site.

I've taken the time to create a alternative download site via Dropbox. Every project download page that required a Mega.nz download now has a Dropbox Alternative.

I do ask that people preference MEGA.NZ. But DROPBOX is there in case Mega doesn't work.

1: What's New?

Over the past two weeks I added two important features to the upcoming prisoner statue:

1: I added and animated the male sprites. Meaning the statue can have male and female prisoners now.

This is done both at the dungeon gameplay level and the encounter level.

2: I added the minigame you play while in the encounter in order to free the prisoner.

The Event itself is fully playable from start to end and works very consistently now!

2: What's Next?

There's not much left to produce for this prisoner encounter. I Need to work on sound effects for it, I need to do a dialogue pass and add some dialogue logic. And I need to refine and bug fix it a little.

And I need to add a few more prisoner color selections.

Currently my aspiration is to get this in-game and a new build out to you all within mid April.

I'd like to thank everyone for being patient. It's been a long while since the Bindmancer has had an update but a lot of that has come down to making this new zone. I'm trying to get it out asap but without making the game more buggy or worse off.
