Sketch Drop (Supporter-only) May to July 2026

This collection includes rough sketches, animation frames, unused ideas, and early versions of work from the past three months.

Laura’s animation felt like a real starting point for me. It was the first animation where I removed the flags completely and let Laura and Kendra carry the story as themselves. It made me realize that I can explore more than stories built around countries. That part of WIA is not disappearing, but it no longer has to be the only way I create.

I felt the same thing again with the recent World Cup artwork. What stayed with me most was seeing people talk about Bella, Noir, Lívia, and the others by name, noticing their expressions and the small ways they behave around each other. That is what I want to keep building: characters who feel like they have their own lives, relationships, and moments beyond the image.

I may not produce as many separate pieces or run a new poll every month like before. I’m learning to be more patient with myself and to give each idea enough time instead of releasing something only because a space in the schedule needs to be filled. The Side Quests haven’t been forgotten, and neither have the website, CharacterHub updates, or the Noir chatbot idea. Some of them simply need more time before they feel ready.

I’ve also been slowly working on 3D locations connected to the characters, including places for Alessia, Victoria, and others in the future. They’re still in progress, so I’m taking my time with them and building them little by little as this world grows.

Once Alessia’s animation is finished, the poll will return as usual. I’m looking forward to seeing which character everyone wants to follow next.
