A Little Ramble

Finally got my upcoming release character rigged. Only took me until a week before the release of the pack, how efficient. Might be able tell who it is based on what little you can see of her face and hair, but might not. I dunno. It's not gonna be a very big pack, seeing as how I'm kinda late to getting started.

Could have had it done a little bit sooner, but I decided to write myself a program to calculate my polls for me, instead of having to do that manually. And yes, I did it all manually before. Well, with the help of spreadsheets, but still. That was just for summing things. All the data was input manually, but now I only have to input tiers manually and the program runs through and tallies up everything and spits out a graph.

Using the Halloween Poll as an example. If you compare it to my post about the poll, you can see that I apparently entered some numbers incorrectly, which is another reason why having a program do it for me is more reliable. It's a super simple python script, and I did it because I learned python not that long ago. I was trying to pick up python to see if I could use some Blender scripts to speed up my workflow and ultimately I didn't notice anything that would really help me so I've more or less just put it on the backburner, but decided to use it to make something like this. I usually drop programming whenever I get to classes in a coding language my brain just checks out and goes "nah". I can deal with functions, but classes just get too much for my feeble mind. Although I may have to learn them at some point, since I kind of want to dip my toes into, like, Unity or Unreal at some point. Not that I know what actually goes into coding a game, but I'd like to learn at some point.

But that's neither here nor there. The current poll results are pretty close between three characters, one further behind, and then one dead last. Leave it up to you to figure out who is where. My dumb project is also underway. I have a date in mind for it, but whether I'll make that date is another thing entirely. It's a big project. Big and dumb.
