Hey guys! Quick heads up!
In November, Patreon is being forced by Apple to give 30% tax on income through the App Store. Either the patrons will pay this tax, or the creator account itself will pay for this. That's up to each creator, but they don't recommend creators to pay for this themselves.
As far as I understand it, there's an easy way to circumvent this, luckily. Anyone here who is currently making Patreon payements through the iOS Patreon app: If you're able to set up the payments using the Patreon website (not the iOS app), then this new rule will be irrelevant to you.
I think it'll be fine, though I think this new rule sucks. Just make sure to check your payment method!
