Initial design for the character: Shuro. Name and design are not final. The design that will be mostly used will be the human version. The furry (scaly?) design will mostly be for story reasons (or as an option for my furry friends in case they want to contribute as a guest artist).
I tried to make some sea/beach and shark elements to the design. I figure the slits would be nice for the fins and tail without trying to replicate Semeru from Coral Island. I could choose other colors or other sharks, but it'll mostly be a greyscale comic anyway (also blue and grey are iconic and easier to identify as sea and shark elements).
I'll start working on the sketch once I'm done with my commissions. Please look forward to it!
