This animation shows a quiet side of her work life, a simple moment that still hides a touch of warmth.

I really wanted her to feel alive this time, not just moving, but existing in her own world. Every motion was drawn frame by frame, focusing on natural movement and subtle emotion. It’s probably the heaviest frame by frame work I’ve done so far, even more than Malee’s animation last month. But honestly, I enjoy it. When I finally see them move and breathe on screen, it just feels worth it every single time lol.

On her desk, I’ve been trying to capture the little details that make her space feel Japanese, small, practical, and personal. You’ll see them once it’s done.

And story-wise… Hana’s the kind of person who hides her feelings, but there’s someone in her office she secretly likes. He’s always bringing her small gifts, but this time he brings her pudding and somehow, that simple thing hits her heart differently.

This version you’re seeing now is still just a first sketch. It’s messy, filled with rough lines and tons of reference images everywhere (you can probably tell lol). But this stage is super important, it’s what lets me fix things fast and find the right feeling before everything’s cleaned up.

I think some of you might enjoy seeing these raw, behind-the-scenes moments before the final version.
