PATREON + COMIC UPDATE 4/1/2026

Hello gang! This will be a long post and I apologize for that, I will try and cover everything from the recent Patron Census, to the comic progress, to some random thoughts from the convention this past weekend.

THE CENSUS

Let's start with the census! First off, thank you to everyone who answered and gave your feedback! We want to make sure everyone has a good time here and that is a great way to figure out what we can do better, what we're doing well, and also get new ideas on what you'd all like to see.

We want to address some confusion we uncovered in the census. There were some responses complaining that Patreon exclusives were going up on social media shortly after being posted to Patreon. I want to clear up that that does NOT happen. The posting schedule for Patreon exclusive content has been the same for 5+ years at this point and we would never give away the content that you're paying for for free. For the $5 tier and up, every Monday there is an exclusive NSFW post that is never posted anywhere else by us. For the $10 tier there is also a monthly animation post that is, in 95% of cases, never shared elsewhere. There are times I may share variant versions of those NSFW animations, but I always wait at least 6 months to do so after posting on Patreon. There were even some replies wondering why we stopped doing animations. We haven't! We're still uploading them monthly. I upload usually 3 times per week on my socials and I believe that is part of the confusion, since we used to not do that. The reason we do now is so that you only need to keep up with this account to see all of the art I produce, but also to include variants and PSD+WIPs for those interested.

We also blame a large amount of the confusion on Patreon's latest update to layouts(sorry patreon, we love u!). It makes it less convenient to sort through all recent posts. So to help remedy this, we've added a new collection to our "collections" tab that includes ALL of the excluvise NSFW content posted on this Patreon:

As always, if there is still confusion or if you would like to offer suggestions on how we lay out the page, please provide them. :)

The most common suggestion from the census was more sequential art, having the posts connect with one another somehow. Some of you may notice that I tried that last week, with the series of Lucia getting arrested and then Mia seeing her in jail. I'm excited to try and experiment more with that concept, and will rely on your feedback when doing so! Of course full comic releases are harder to produce, but I'm glad to say we have several of them lined up for this year, some featuring guest artists. We love the opportunity to work with more people, and hope you guys will give them a fair chance, too.

There were also requests for more side characters to be prominently featured instead of Lucia, and I will continue to push in that direction. It honestly makes me very happy that you guys want to see more from the world that we're crafting.

LEXINGTON COMIC CON

This past weekend we were at Lexington Comic Con and it was a fantastic show. Thank you to anyone who came out to see us! I even took some marker commissions at the show, and enjoyed that a lot. I might open some marker comms in the future here, I just haven't worked out the details yet. Conventions are a time for us to reflect, since we spend all weekend talking about our work and especially the comics. It even made me discover something about The Panty Bear that I hadn't even realized--it's very reflective of where we were mentally at the time. Being our first adventure into comics, we were meeting new people and facing new challenges, it felt like an entirely different world. I think it was similar to what Lucia experienced, just with less panties, violence, and stuffed animals. This of course continues more obviously into Kindred Heavens, where we were facing frustration and pain at the time. It's interesting to see how your personal feelings can bleed into your work, even if you don't realize it at the time.

Going out into the convention world and meeting loads of different people make me realize how lucky we are to have you guys. You give us the ability to chase our dreams, do cool things that otherwise we'd never get to do, and make the stuff we want to make. I only can hope that we give you back a fraction of the joy and wonder you've given us.

COMIC UPDATE

I've rambled enough, although I don't have much of a comic update to give you guys. BUT! One big update is that our next yuri comic, 'MY BOSS REWARDED MY HARD WORK BY TAKING ME TO A SEEDY MASSAGE PARLOR' is complete and currently being translated to Japanese. This is so that we can release the English and Japanese versions at the same time. It should hopefully be coming out this month! For now, here's a sneak peek...AT THE COVER!

It will be available for free to all $10 Patrons, and available to purchase for $5 for everyone else.

Now, onto Kindred Heavens! Near the end of March, I started KH5, but as you can see, not much progress was made. But you can see my hopeful schedule for the rest of the year with it! I know last year it took much longer to do KH4 than expected, so I'm hoping to better stay on track this time.
