Since there was some confusion about the nature of the last test animation we published, we thought we'd elaborate on the role of these animations more. 

Test animations are mainly for testing new animators in our production workflow, but also sometimes can be tests for physics simulation, lighting, rigging, or video editing.

We don't change these animations too much, so they may contain faults we'd otherwise fix for final production animations. In the future we'll point out key focus points and issues.

We're posting these animations because some of you have expressed interest in seeing them.

Occasionally these tests may turn into a main animation, but most of the time they will just be bonus animations.

So with that clarified, here's what you need to know about today's test animation.

Focus: animation.

Brief: animate a reference pose with some variation.

Known issues: hair clipping.
